How do I get started with Umi Go?如何开始申请 Umi Go？
Submit an enquiry with your location and preferred vehicle or plan. Our team will help you choose a suitable option and complete the required eligibility and identity checks. Before collection, you will need to confirm your order, complete the required payments and sign your Subscription or Rent-to-Own agreement. We will then confirm when your vehicle is ready to collect.

What information and documents do I need to apply?申请需要提供哪些资料和文件？
The application asks for your contact details, ABN and a valid Australian driver’s licence, including front and back images, together with a passport. Depending on your circumstances, you may also need visa or VEVO evidence, proof of your Uber driver account, and information about your rideshare earnings or an alternative source of income. Our team will confirm any additional documents needed for your application.

Timing depends on whether your application is complete, the checks required and vehicle availability. Our team will let you know if more information is needed and confirm the next steps once your application has been reviewed.

What age and licence requirements apply?年龄和驾照有哪些要求？
You must be at least 23 years old to rent with Umi Go. We also ask whether you have held a full Australian driver’s licence for at least 12 months. Our team will assess your application and confirm the requirements that apply to your circumstances and selected plan.

Can I apply if I am new to rideshare driving?刚开始做网约车司机也可以申请吗？
Yes. Umi Go supports both new and experienced rideshare drivers. If you are not currently driving for a rideshare platform, we will ask about an alternative source of income that can support your weekly payments. Approval, any bond requirement and vehicle availability will be confirmed after assessment. You will also need to meet the relevant platform’s driver and vehicle requirements.

What servicing and loss or damage cover are available?有哪些保养及车辆损失保障？
Scheduled servicing and maintenance are listed among Umi Go’s plan benefits. Check your selected plan and written agreement for the loss and damage cover included or arranged, the approved uses of the vehicle, any applicable payments and exclusions. Cover does not mean that every repair, incident or loss is payable by Umi Go.

No previous EV driving experience is required. Ask our team about the vehicle’s controls, charging requirements and day-to-day use before collection, so you can get started with confidence.

Where can I charge my electric vehicle?我可以在哪里为电动车充电？
Charging options depend on your vehicle and location. You can use a compatible home charging setup or suitable public charging stations. Check the connector, charging instructions, access conditions and charging fees before use. Ask our team about charging requirements for your selected vehicle.

What should I do if my vehicle breaks down?车辆发生故障时该怎么办？
Follow the roadside assistance and incident-reporting instructions provided with your agreement, and notify Umi Go so the next steps can be arranged. Any courtesy or replacement vehicle is subject to eligibility and availability. The applicable cover, charges and repair arrangements depend on your agreement and the circumstances.

What is the difference between Rent-to-Own and Subscription?以租代购和订阅有什么区别？
Rent-to-Own offers a pathway towards owning the vehicle, subject to the payments and conditions in your agreement. Our Vehicles page separates New 5-Year RTO and Pre-Owned RTO options. Subscription provides access to a vehicle for an agreed term without a long-term ownership commitment. Availability and eligible vehicles differ by plan.

How much does a Umi Go plan cost?Umi Go 方案如何收费？
Weekly pricing varies by vehicle, location, plan and contract term. Visit our Vehicles page, choose New 5-Year RTO, Pre-Owned RTO or Subscription, and select the vehicle you are interested in. Advertised prices and availability are indicative; your quote and written agreement will confirm the weekly payment, included benefits and any other applicable charges.

What is the minimum contract term?合同最短需要签多久？
Umi Go Subscription agreements have a minimum term of 3 months. New vehicles listed under New 5-Year RTO are offered on a five-year rent-to-own plan; other RTO terms depend on the vehicle and agreement. Our published Subscription and RTO plans are not a daily or few-day rental offer. Ask our team to confirm the available term before applying.

Will I own the vehicle at the end of a Rent-to-Own plan?以租代购结束后，车辆会归我所有吗？
Rent-to-Own provides a pathway to ownership, but ownership is not automatic simply because you have made weekly payments. Before signing, confirm the agreed term, all required payments, any final purchase amount and the steps and conditions for transferring ownership. Your written agreement will set out the arrangement for your selected vehicle.

What charges should I check in addition to the advertised weekly price?除了展示的每周价格，还需要确认哪些费用？
Review your quote and agreement for the full cost breakdown. The published terms list a $990 set-up fee for Rent-to-Own agreements and a $10 weekly management fee for RTO and Subscription agreements. Depending on your agreement and circumstances, a security bond, toll bond, loss and damage payments, toll or infringement administration charges, or early-termination costs may also apply. Ask our team which amounts are included in your quoted weekly payment and which are payable separately.

Will I need to pay a bond?需要支付押金吗？
A security bond may be required depending on the vehicle and your circumstances. The published terms provide for no bond, $1,000, $2,000 or four weeks of the weekly hire payment, as specified in your agreement. A separate refundable toll bond of $200–$500 may also be required. Refunds are subject to the applicable terms, outstanding amounts, inspection and reconciliation; unresolved toll liabilities may delay a toll bond refund.

Is mileage unlimited?里程是否不限？
Umi Go’s published vehicle plans include unlimited mileage during the agreed term. If you end an RTO agreement early, a mileage adjustment may apply under your individual agreement. Check the early-termination conditions before signing or ending your plan.

Can I extend, change or end my agreement early?可以延长、变更或提前结束协议吗？
Contact Umi Go before your agreement ends to discuss an extension or change. Any new arrangement must be confirmed and depends on availability and the applicable terms. Early termination may involve charges: the published RTO terms list a $1,000 break fee in Year 1, $500 in Year 2 and no break fee from Year 3, with a possible mileage adjustment on early termination. Subscription requires 7 days’ written notice; ending before the agreed term may involve a $200 break fee, adjustments and remaining weekly payments. Review the vehicle terms and your own agreement before making a decision.
